Micki Tubbs is a co-founder of FIT and served as its CEO from the company’s start until her retirement in 2021. She focused on the overall operations of the company including oversight of finance. Micki enjoyed the fast pace and working with the IT teams to resolve operational roadblocks, and drove the vision for FIT.

FIT is one of many ventures in Micki’s 40 year career. During this time she has been honored several times for her entrepreneurialism, including by the United States SBA for the growth of New Life Hospice which she founded in the nineties. Micki, along with cofounder Michelle Tomallo, were honored with a Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Award and FIT was named to the Top 10 of the Weatherhead 100 at two different periods of FIT’s growth as an organization.

Prior to retiring, Micki served on the boards of Greater Cleveland Partnership (GCP) and the Cleveland Workforce Development Board (now Greater Cleveland Works), serving as the Chair and Executive to lead the Strategic Planning Committee. She also served on the boards of OhTech, Lakewood Community Services Center, and as Board President of the Battery Park HOA. Micki has extensive experience in local, state and national board leadership, and is a seasoned presenter at business forums, and legislative hearings.

In addition to her ongoing consultation to FIT Technologies, Micki currently keeps busy engaged with her four grandkids, managing business investments, working on land/beach projects in Lakewood, staying active in her neighborhood, as well as supporting many local nonprofits. Micki is a Cleveland sports fan and an all-around sports enthusiast. She was a high school coach for many years—for women’s basketball and for both men’s and women’s tennis.
