FIT Leaders Appear in Print and Online

March 1, 2022

We at FIT Technologies love to spread the good word about our company, and a few FIT leaders were recently highlighted in print and on a popular business-centric podcast series. FIT Chief Strategy Officer Fred Franks was featured in a recent issue of Crain's Cleveland Business, as well as on the publication's website in a roundup of area tech leaders offering their predictions for what to expect in 2022.
"With the Great Resignation and continued trends of retirement, many small to medium businesses are faced with challenges to replace their 'IT guy' with a single new person," Franks said. "We see trends where the majority of organizations with less than 500 employees are now fully outsourcing. Staff and IT are creating more forms to go beyond digital into database and automation of manual tasks to process digital information/requests/workflows."
Other experts highlighted the continued evolution of work with changes brought on by the pandemic, including remote work and telehealth. Head to Crain's website to check out the full article. In the audio realm, FIT Chief People Officer and Co-founder Michelle Tomallo appeared on a recent episode of the Business Fluent podcast, a series developed by the Small Business Development Center at Lorain County Community College. In this episode, Tomallo walked through the two-decade journey of FIT Technologies, as well as her experience as a woman in tech. She also gives some great advice on getting started as an entrepreneur in Cleveland. Listen to the episode at the website for Evergreen Podcasts, or at popular podcast services including Apple, Spotify, and Stitcher. Tomallo was also featured in the first ever Channel Futures DE&I 101 list, which recognizes individuals from diverse and multicultural backgrounds who are driving diversity, equity, and inclusion in the IT industry through their words, actions and leadership. And in case you missed it, to wrap up 2021 Franks also discussed Cybersecurity and Cyber Insurance on Westfield Bank's Sharing Knowledge Series.  Want to leverage FIT's expertise in an article or podcast this year?
