March 8, 2021

Greater Cleveland Partnership (GCP) announced the GCP Tech Board of Advisors and officers for the upcoming year. We're proud to see FIT CSO Fred Franks named Vice-Chair of the advisory board. Formerly known as OHTec, GCP Tech provides strategic guidance and ensures that tech programs, activities, and services are meeting the needs of Northeast Ohio's information technology industry. GCP Tech also focuses on building relationships and a strong technology industry within Northeast Ohio. FIT has been a member of OHTec since its inception and has had a seat on the board for more than a decade. Fred is excited to help GCP Tech fulfill its mission of supporting the growth of tech in the region. "I believe in the future of technology in our region. Technology has the ability to positively impact jobs, organizations, and our communities to a degree few other sectors can," Fred said. "I hope to see GCP Tech continue to mature as it leads in establishing meaningful affinity groups and collaboration opportunities, partners in building value to economic development & talent, and promotes the achievements of organizations and individuals in the area."
