Putting the Fun in Fundraisers

July 7, 2015

FIT employees are busy supporting our clients technology needs during the day but also take time on evenings and weekends to support local organizations and nonprofits in other ways--completing pro bono projects for clients, attending fundraisers or sponsoring events. Highlights from our recent support:  ALS GALA and AUCTION Fit was a proud MVP sponsor of the ALS Gala and Auction held Saturday, June 27th at Progressive Field, featuring cocktails, a seated dinner, a live performance and a array of silent auction items along the field. Even the rain couldn't dampen the excitement of the evening.  The other thrill was that Adam Berebitsky from SS&G, FIT's accounting firm for the last eight years, received this year's award for his service and dedication to the local ALS chapter. als 9 WOMANKIND GOLF OUTING Celebrating it's 40th year, Womankind has been providing care to meet the medical and emotional needs of women who were pregnant or think they might be. Womankind is an advocate for women and helps them with referrals for issues such as adoption, legal and psychiatric assistance, and drug treatment. These caring services are unique in that they provide comprehensive prenatal care combined with education and emotional support in a loving and non-judgmental environment. To support this work, Womankind relies on donations and fundraisers.  FIT is proud to be a sponsor of special events like their annual golf outing. In addition, we provide technology support to their clinic and staff. In both cases, we are helping them to provide much needed services in the community. 3a Other ORGANIZATIONS SUPPORTED in 2015: (January through June) American Diabetes Association Animal Protective League Brain Aneurysm Foundation Downtown Cleveland Alliance Planter Sponsorship Equality Ohio Frontline Service The LGBT Center of Greater Cleveland Give Out Day National MS Society Near West Theatre PanCAN Purple Stride 5k Soul to Sole 5k St. Baldrick's Foundation The Trust for Public Land Velosano Bike to Cure
